10am today, 8th Feb, Margaret Bentham reported a car parked off the main road on their driveway - a young man came to their door and asked for their postcode as he said their car had broken down and they wanted to alert Green Flag.....meanwhile she noticed another man heading towards the Haywards house - apparently there are builders around so the man left, but seemed to be having a good look around before cutting across their son's property to get back to the car, when the other man ran over to the car, got in and sped off!!! Unfortunately neither Margaret nor Tony got the number of make of the car - small brownish saloon - men 35ish white. I advised them to inform the police and said I would circulate NW for information and to spread the word and keep a look out.
We have been warned!
